Pennsylvania State Police said Tuesday that they plan to ticket a woman who allegedly pulled in front of Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company Chief Frank Farry and caused him to crash Monday afternoon.

The 22-year-old Langhorne resident allegedly pulled her 2001 Honda Civic out of Flowers Avenue onto Pine Street (Route 413) in Langhorne Borough as Farry, also the local state representative for the 142nd legislative district, was responding with lights and sirens activated to a crash on northbound Route 1 in Middletown.

Farry’s fire department SUV, a 2008 Ford Expedition with roughly 30,000 miles on it, is parked behind the Langhorne fire station until a determination on whether the vehicle can be repaired is completed, Assistant Chief Joe Taylor, who is also the borough mayor, said.
