The congressman, his colleagues and the presidential candidates will tackle the following question: how can the next Congress and president can cut across party lines to truly begin solving Americaโ€™s urgent problems?

According to officials:

Rep. Fitzpatrick is one of 68 members who have signed onto co-sponsor legislation in congress calling for the creation of a newย National Strategic Agendaย focused on four goals.

  • Create 25 million jobs over the next 10 years

  • Secure Social Security and Medicare for the next 75 years

  • Balance the federal budget by 2030

  • Make America energy secure by 2024

โ€œIf our next president makes this commitment,โ€ Fitzpatrick said, โ€œhe or she will have a ready-made group of allies in Congress on both sides of the aisle.โ€
