3 Schools Locked Down After Reports Of Possible Gunshots

Three Levittown schools were locked down Tuesday morning while police investigated possible gunshots.

The Center for Student Learning Charter School on Lakeside Drive, Walt Disney Elementary School on Lakeside Drive and St. Michael the Archangel School on Levittown Parkway were locked down for a short period of time Tuesday morning after a janitor at the charter school heard what sounded like gunshots nearby, Tullytown Chief of Police Daniel Doyle said.

The lockdowns were precautionary and lifted after a search by officers did not uncover anyone with weapons, Doyle told LevittownNowcom.
