A Bristol Township man has been charged with three burglaries that happened in the Croydon section over the past several years.
John Paul Sobolewski, 35, was charged with various counts of burglary, receiving stolen property, theft and related offenses last week. He was arraigned before District judge Frank Peranteau Sr. and remanded to prison unable to post bail.

During interviews with police, Sobolewski reportedly admitted to the three burglaries and even said he sold the stolen goods to support his drug habit.

The rear door window at a home in the 500 block of Neshaminy Road was smashed out in late November 2013. The home was entered but nothing was reported missing. Sobolewski told a detective the house was too messy to take anything from.

In February, a home in the 800 block of Central Avenue was entered through a back door that was forced open. Multiple watches, two TVs, jewelry and a car key were stolen. The value of the stolen goods was $3,014.
A home in the 100 block of Dorsey Avenue had a rear window smashed in mid-March. A bedroom was ransacked and a video camera, Playstation, video games, three pairs of Air Jordan sneakers and various pieces of jewelry were taken. Police used an online service to track one of the stolen items. Sobolewski told a detective he sold some of the stolen items on the streets of Philadelphia.

According to court records, Sobolewski was linked to the 2013 Neshaminy Road burglary by DNA found a cigarette butt found at the scene.
