A New Jersey man was killed in a Sunday car crash in Bristol Township.

Alan Cross Jr., 32, of Cookstown, New Jersey, was ejected from his vehicle after it struck the guard rail on I-95 just north of Ford Road Sunday morning. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

An investigation by troopers found Cross’ vehicle crossed over from the southbound lanes to the northbound lanes, where it was struck by a second vehicle. From there, Cross’ vehicle hit the guard rail and he was ejected, state police said.

The second vehicle was driven by a 22-year-old from Newtown. The three other passengers used seatbelts and suffered only minor injuries, state police said.

Cross was pronounced dead at St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown.
