Falls Township Public Works Department employees recently paved two parking lots of groups that work to improve the community.
Public Works spent time to pave the American Legion Post 834 and Falls Township Fire Company parking lots in the Fallsington section of town. According to officials, the Board of Supervisors ย budgeted $20,000 for the “week long good will project.”

The American Legion had previously asked the township to repave the lot, and because the fire company is right next door, it made sense to both, officials said.

The only expenses were for materials and equipment rental.
“We pride ourselves on doing whatever we can to help our veterans and volunteer firefighters,” Supervisors Chairman Bob Harvie said. “This is a small token of gratitude for all of the sacrifices these folks have made for all of us.”
