A toddler was pronounced dead at the hospital after he was pulled from a local pool.
Officials confirmed a boy – who sources said was either three or four years of age – died after being pulled from a pool at the Neshaminy Shore Picnic Park in Hulmeville mid-afternoon Saturday. The exact circumstances around the incident were not clear as of 7 p.m.

Pennsylvania State Police were investigating the incident and remained on the scene as of late afternoon, according to a Neshaminy Shore Picnic Park employee.
Despite the work of first responders and medical staff, the boy was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown, a source told LevittownNow.com.
A reporter said a large amount of cars and a few tour buses were parked near the pool after the incident. Neshaminy Shore Picnic Park appeared to remain open after the incident.

A manager for Neshaminy Shore Picnic Park was not immediately available for comment at the park or via phone.
Firefighters from the William Penn Fire Company assisted crews from Bensalem Emergency Services and the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad.
