Assault At Lower Bucks Hospital Leaves Man Unconscious, Cops Say

A report of assault sent officers rushing to Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol Township Thursday night.

Daniel Kelley, 23, of Trevose, knocked a hospital staff member, who fell into another patient, unconscious, according to the probable cause affidavit.

The unconscious staff member sustained a bleeding face, while the patient injured their hip, said official police documents.

Police allege thatย Kelley attacked the staff member after being denied medication.

Kelley is being charged with a second degree felony aggravated assault, and multiple misdemeanors including simple assault, two counts of disorderly conduct while engaging in fighting, and two counts of recklessly endangering another person.

Kelleyโ€™s bail was set at 10 percent of $100,000 and is being held in the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

Kelleyโ€™s preliminary hearing has been scheduled for September 22 at 2:15 p.m. at Judge Klineโ€™s court.
