A report of assault sent officers rushing to Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol Township Thursday night.
Daniel Kelley, 23, of Trevose, knocked a hospital staff member, who fell into another patient, unconscious, according to the probable cause affidavit.

The unconscious staff member sustained a bleeding face, while the patient injured their hip, said official police documents.
Police allege that Kelley attacked the staff member after being denied medication.
Kelley is being charged with a second degree felony aggravated assault, and multiple misdemeanors including simple assault, two counts of disorderly conduct while engaging in fighting, and two counts of recklessly endangering another person.

Kelley’s bail was set at 10 percent of $100,000 and is being held in the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
Kelley’s preliminary hearing has been scheduled for September 22 at 2:15 p.m. at Judge Kline’s court.
