Falls Township’s popular Citizen Police Academy returns this September.
The 12-week program with sessions taking place on Wednesday evenings from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. will begin September 3, police officials announced.

“Participants will be trained in many aspects of law enforcement including conducting traffic stops, use of force, police K9, SWAT operations, criminal investigations and more,” according to a web posting.
Applications are available online or at the township building on Lincoln Highway in Fairless Hills.
Applications for the Citizen Police Academy must be turned in by August 17.
