Police said in an affidavit of probable cause that Sgt. Martial Belinsky and Officer Richard Krotz were called to a home in the 200 block of Waltham Road in Fairless Hills around 11:30 p.m. for a person who was acting violent after smoking synthetic marijuana.

The arriving police officers found Lennon acting “aggressively” against his family, who were standing back and working to keep him calm, police said.

Lennon, his aunt and mother ended up going into a bedroom. Inside, they called for help from the officers, police said.

“When they entered they found the defendant on his knees pulling on the bed and then rolling around on the floor. Officer Krotz moved behind the defendant and tried to calm him down when the defendant pushed Officer Krtoz through wooden closet doors,” Lt. Hank Ward wrote in court papers filed against Lennon.

Belinsky deployed his Taser, causing the defendant to be subdued until the activation cycle has ended. The moment the Taser cycle ended, Lennon began trying to fight officers, police said.

Belinsky used a second cycle on the Taser and members of the rescue squad were able to use a sedative twice on Lennon, police said.

The 26 year old was taken into custody after being administered sedatives, police said.

Lennon was arraigned Thursday before District Judge Jan Vislosky and was sent to Bucks County prison on 10 percent of $75,000 bail.
