The handguns and other various items were taken. The total value of the burglary was $1,989, police said.

A neighbor saw a possible suspect vehicle parked in the driveway during the day. The car was described by police as a newer, bright neon-green vehicle that was smaller.

“We once again ask everyone if you see something out of place at a neighbor’s home please call us day or night. If this person would have called when they saw the strange vehicle we may have caught this burglar in the act,” Lt. Hank Ward said.
