After the Route 1 project, work on I-95 between Street Road and the Philadelphia border will take place in Bensalem. Additional projects will improve state highways in central and upper Bucks County.

“These operations are part of PennDOT’s project to improve travel and conditions on six state highways by removing the deteriorated pavement and placing a new asphalt riding surface on each roadway,” a statement read. It also noted about 30 miles of state highways, in total, will be repaired in Bucks County.

The work will be done by Skippack, Montgomery County-based contractor H&K Group Inc. at the cost of $9,433,892.
