A PennDOT grant will allow Falls Township police to step up enforcement drivers who break the law.
In a news release sent out Wednesday night by police department officials, PennDOT announced Falls was one of 29 communities to receive grant money for additional speed and aggressive driving enforcement. The grant money will pay for extra enforcement starting this week and ending August 30.

Officers will focus their efforts on Route 1, Route 13, Lincoln Highway, Oxford Valley Road and Tyburn Road in the township.
Across the state, police departments have received funding to step up aggressive driving details.
PennDOT’s news release stated the grant Falls received is funded $2.3 million in federal dollars.
