A 25-year-old Falls Township woman is facing some serious charges after police alleged she caused them problems.

Falls Township patrol officers were called to a Trenton Circle address in Fairless Hills for reports of a domestic incident last Saturday afternoon. While enroute, police were advised Alyona Wiseman had left the house and was heading down Trenton Road in a blue dress and jean jacket, according to court papers.

Officers found Wiseman at the intersection of Oxford Valley and Trenton roads.

Wiseman refused verbal commands from two officers and charged at them when they tapped her on the back. The officers grabbed Wiseman’s arms but she continued to flail and run herself into the two officers, court papers noted.

As officers Ron MacPherson and Christopher Iacono attempted to take Wiseman into custody, she bit MacPherson’s left arm, police said. Court paperwork did not detail whether the officer suffered an injury or how serious it was.

Wiseman was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkeness. She was arraigned Saturday night and sent to prison on 10 percent of $10,000 bail. She was released Tuesday after a family member posted bail. The 25 year old’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 15.
