Falls Township police are investigating a series of nighttime burglaries that have been plaguing the area.
Lt. Hank Ward confirmed five recent overnight burglaries that have taken place in the North Park, Willowood and Thornridge sections of Levittown.

The residents in all the incidents were asleep at the time of the burglaries, and the suspect(s) entered through open windows, police said.
The most recent incident happened Tuesday around 4 a.m. in the 100 block of Willow Drive. The suspect(s) entered through an unlocked front window and stole a laptop that was in the kitchen. The homeowner was asleep during the burglary, police said.
On Monday morning, a teenager attempted to get into a home on Tapered Oak lane through a front window. The resident awoke and their screamed scared off the suspect, who was later identified and is being sought by police, according to Ward.

Police are reminding residents to lock their windows and doors at night.
