
A fundraiser hosted by a historic Bristol Borough restaurant seeks to benefit borough youth in grades K-12.
The King George II Inn at the base of Mill Street will host theย Jazz on the River concert to benefit the Bristol Borough Learning Centers on Friday June 26 from 5 to 8 p.m.. The concert, which will take place on the riverfront at Lion’s Park, will 100 percent benefit after-school and summer camp programs provided to the borough’s youth.

Tickets for the Jazz on the River event are $50 per person and can be purchased at a variety of convenient locations within the borough, includingย Mignoniโs Jewelry, ย Great IDs by Anne, the Bristol Borough Tax Office and the King George II Inn. Cash or check is the preferred payment option. The ticket price includes three drinks (beer, wine, soda) and access toย butlered and staged hors dโoeuvres, cheese, carving, pasta and mashed potato stations and salad.ย ย The jazz band will perform from the gazebo in Lionsโ Park.
Parking for the event will be available in the Municipal Parking Lot located behind Mill Street.ย ย The King George II Inn will also provide valet parking for concert-goers.
The King George II Inn’s owners Robert Strasser and Bruce Low have been active in the local community since they purchased the historic eatery earlier this year.
