Middletown officers say they were dispatched to the parking lot near the Oxford Valley Mall food court shortly after 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26. The female caller told officers she had been walking through the lot when a white male, later identified as Cantoni, approached her in his vehicle.
As noted in court documents, the victim said Cantoni asked her several questions regarding the Neshaminy Mall, including directions. While she was providing him with directions she suddenly noticed that Cantoni had been rubbing his exposed and erect penis. The woman told police she then fled to her vehicle, and Cantoni left the parking lot, according to court documents.
The woman noted she phoned 9-1-1 and waited inside her vehicle until police arrived. While waiting for police, the woman alleges she saw Cantoni come back and once again drive through the lot. The victim was able to snap photographs of not only Cantoni, but his vehicle and license plate, according to a probable cause affidavit.

When police arrived they were able to identify the car as being owned by Cantoni. The photograph taken by the victim was also matched against Cantoni’s most recent drivers license picture, police said.
The following day, police observed the same vehicle parked at the Cantoni residence in Morrisville. Police spoke with Cantoni about the incident where he admitted being involved.

Cantoni pleaded guilty to a similar case in 2013 where he was charged with indecent exposure, open lewdness, disorderly conduct and reckless driving. He was sentenced to two years of probation and to undergo mental health treatment in that case.
