Two charges of harassment filed by Doylestown police against a Bristol Borough man earlier this year were dismissed recently.
Fred Stiltner Jr., 57, had the charges dismissed last month when he came before a district judge.

Stiltner was accused of calling the phone number for A Woman’s Place, a domestic violence victims organization, several times. Police investigated and filed the harassment charges.
The 57 year old was charged by Bucks County Detectives in March with leaving threatening phone messages for Bristol Police Chief Arnold Porter along with officers Sgt. Pete Faight, Alan Hankinson, Elifa Soto and Dean Johnson. In one of the messages, Stiltner reportedly told officers to “kiss my goat smelling ass.” Detectives noted in court papers that they believe the messages were made following domestic incidents between Stiltner and his wife.
Stiltner’s attorney filed application paperwork for his client to take part in a first-time offender program. A hearing is currently scheduled for a August in Doylestown.
