The provided funds will be used for the “construction and irrigation of a vertical garden. In addition, the garden will act as an extension of a previously established vegetable garden.

The project will teach students and the community about ways to build gardens and provide fresh produce for their families, even in cramped urban settings.

chool Board President John D’Angelo said during the meeting, “We would just like to thank SCA for their outstanding generosity.”

According to Engler, it is rare for one school to receive the entire grant, as theย Garden and Green Technology Club did.

“The SCA grant will enable our program to do great things for the students of Bristol Borough. We want to make a difference in the eating habits of our community,” said Doug Braun, a grade 8 Social Studies teacher at Bristol Middle school.
