Over $2,000 of “dirt cheap” flowers were sold in Bristol Borough on Saturday morning in a sale sponsored by Bristol Borough Raising the Bar.
Although the trucks delivering the flowers ran late delivering them, Bristol faithful stood by in order to buy flowers before they sold out. A flat of flowers was being sold for $15.

Flowers were donated by Galzerano and Wade Funeral Home. According to Bill Pezza of Bristol Borough Raising the Bar, the goal of the sale was not to make money, but instead to encourage people to beautify their property with cheap flowers.
Last year, the flowers sold out in 30 minutes time.
