Bristol-Based Lenox Purchases Remainder Of Reed & Barton Brand


Lenox_LogoBristol Borough-based Lenox Corporation has purchased the remains of a 190-year-old tableware company.

Last week, Lenox announced it had purchased the operating assets and certain liabilities of the Reed & Barton brand. The sale price was not released.

As a part of Lenox, Reed & Barton will continue to design and market a broad assortment of unique giftware, including picture frames, children’s gifts, crystal and metal serveware, Christmas ornaments and hardwood chests. Additionally, Lenox will continue to market under other brands within the Reed & Barton umbrella, including Thomas O’Brien for Reed & Barton, Lunt, Williamsburg for Reed & Barton, and R+B Everyday.

Company officials said Tim Riddle, who has led Reed & Barton for the past 14 years, will head the Reed & Barton brand going forward.
