The Taddei Woods in Penndel need to be spruced up.

This Saturday, Councilwoman Kali Sodano will be hosting a Taddei Woods Spring Cleanup Event starting at 9 a.m. Volunteers will help remove trash and maintain the trail system at the park.

Those interested in helping Sodano clean the 7.5-acre tract of woodlands are asked to meet at 9 a.m. at the end of Holly Avenue for sign in. Volunteers are asked to bring gloves and a rake. Coffee and water will be available.

The event is rain or shine. In the event of heavy rain or thunderstorms, Sodano said volunteers should check the borough Facebook page.

The Taddei Woods are often cleaned by the Penndel Open Space Committee.
