Emilie Christian Day School Raises Money For Autism Speaks During Art Show


Autism-Speaks-LogoThe Emilie Christian Day School (ECDS) hosted its annual Art Show recently whereย artwork of students ages one through five was showcased.

Friendly, silent bidding took place on colorful chairs painted by students from each classroom. The bidding, which started at $5, went upwards of $130. A bake sale also raised money for Autism speaks.

โ€œThere was an overwhelming response to the silent auction of the hand painted chairs and bake sale. I thank the families for their kindness and generosity,โ€ said Alison Angelaccio, director at ECDS.

In all, the event raised $1,100 for Autism Speaks.
