A driver who may have been speeding is to blame for a hit-and-run crash that injured a woman.
Bristol Township police told LevittownNow.com this week that the crash, which happened between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. last Friday, happened on New Falls Road near Indian Creek Pass.

A red or burgundy pickup truck was likely speeding and caused the crash as it changed lanes, pushing the victim’s car off the right lane of the eastbound lane and into the utility pole, police said.
Melissa Marie, who was driving the car pushed into the utility pole, told LevittownNow.com she wants to find the driver of the vehicle that caused the crash and have them be “made responsible for their actions.”
Marie said the crash “could have killed me if I was not a full believer in seat belts and I thank God my little boys were not in my car at the time.”

Marie suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and her car was damaged.
Police said they do have a witness to the incident and are continuing to investigate.
