Bristol Township police were called to Harry S. Truman High School for a possible threat on Wednesday.

According to Bristol Township School District officials, graffiti was found in one of the girls’ bathrooms in the school on Wednesday morning.

“The message could vaguely be interpreted as a threat, district administrators contacted the Bristol Township Police Department,” a statement from the district said.

Police investigated and determined the graffiti did not represent a credible threat to the school, according to the district.

Bathrooms not monitored by staff were locked and students were alerted of the bathroom closures.

The district said students were told the school would work to prevent additional graffiti.

“As always, the safety and security of our students remains our district’s top priority.”

The incident comes days after two messages written on bathroom mirrors caused police to evacuate the school and call in four bomb-sniffing dogs. As of Tuesday evening, police said they had not yet charged anyone in the threats.
