Bristol Police Investigate Robbery & Attempted Robbery

One robbery and an attempted robbery in Bristol Borough are being investigated.

A man robbed the Metro PCS store in the 200 block of Route 13 around 1 p.m. Tuesday. The gun-wielding suspect made off with an unreleased sum of money, police said.

On Wednesday, a suspect attempted to rob the G-Fuel gas station in the 400 block of Route 13 around 1 p.m. The suspect, who was believed to be armed, walked off without getting any loot, police said. Detective Sgt. Randy Morris said he believes the suspect in the G-Fuel incident either got spooked or cold feet.

No one was hurt in either of the robberies.

Borough police are checking to see if the suspect in Tuesday’s robbery is connected to the robbery of a gas station in Bristol Township, Morris said. In both cases, the suspects’ had their faces covered.

The suspect in the attempted robbery is described as a black male of thin build, he was also wearing a bandanna, police said.
