Congregation Displaced By Arsons Continues To Worship

The congregation of Restoration Church in Levittown did not let last week’s arson fires stop them from praising their God on Sunday.

The faithful, still displaced from their smoke-damaged place of worship on Pinewood Drive in Falls Township, gathered on the front lawn for their regular Sunday services.

A church member told the congregation contractors were working to clear the smoke from the building. During last week’s arsons, a cross, play structure and bathroom were torched.

Pastor Ross Manders led the faithful during their service and said they hope to be inside again by next Sunday.

Officials said the investigation into the arson was ongoing as of Saturday.
