One veteran commits suicide every 65 minutes.
It’s that statistic and their unrelenting service to their country that keeps the Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans going.

On Thursday, at the Bristol Township council meeting, the men of DV3 were honored for their service not only to their country as members of the armed forces, but to the community and returning veterans as a whole.
DV3, which organizes an Agent Orange event, a Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans event, and numerous events throughout the year, takes pride in helping veterans and their families with issues not just when they first come home from battle, but for decades after.
The group, which began their mission in 1984, remained fairly silent and humble during the council’s resolution and repeatedly thanked the council.

“I can’t thank you all enough, and you are all so near and dear to my heart,” said Council Vice President Amber Longhitano.
