GameStop Robberies Could Be Linked, Police Say

Police in Tullytown and Chester County are working to confirm if they are looking for the same robbery suspect.

Police suspect the same man robbed the GameStop in Tullytown on Thursday and the West Chester GameStop on Friday. Officials from Tullytown and West Goshen, Chester County noted the similarity between the two cases.

West Goshen Detective Darren Sedlak said in a press release that the suspect in the West Chester GameStop robbery “closely resembles” the man police in Tullytown say robbed the Levittown store of cash after handing over a demand note and implying he had a weapon.

Tullytown Chief Daniel Doyle told LevittownNow.com his department is continuing to probe if the pictured suspects are the same person.

In both cases, the suspect fled on foot.

No one was injured in either robbery.

GameStop announced they are offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

Anyone with information on the man pictured in the surveillance video is asked to call police at 215-945-3100.
