A 34-year-old New Jersey man was sentenced to 28 years in prison by a federal judge for coercion and enticement of a minor to engage in sexual conduct.
Christopher Steibing, 34, of Ewing, New Jersey, tricked a teenage girl, who was 13 years old, into sending nude images to him. Steibing stored some of the images inside the Falls Township home of a girlfriend, authorities said.

U.S. District Court Judge Harvey Bartle III ordered Steibing to 20 years of supervised release and a $100 special assessment following his prison sentence. The 28 year old must also register under the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act and shall be subject to any applicable state sex offender registration requirements.
Federal prosecutors said Steibing – who pretended online to be a 15 year old girl named “Amanda” near the victim – began sending the girl electronic messages on AOL.
Here’s more from federal authorities:
The victim had numerous online conversations which “Amanda,” in which “Amanda” repeatedly brought up the topic of sexual intercourse, pressed the victim for information about her sexual history, and claimed to have dated the defendant. “Amanda” also introduced the victim to “Cory,” whom “Amanda” claimed was a 14 year-old male friend whom the victim should talk to. In truth, “Amanda” and “Cory” were actually the defendant, who was using the AOL screen names “AMANDAFOX93” and “NEWJERSEYSTONER” for these fictional personas. Eventually, the victim believed that she was dating “Cory” in an online relationship. The defendant sent the victim several images that purported to be pictures of “Cory’s” naked body and asked the victim to send him nude pictures of her. The victim ultimately agreed, taking photographs of herself in poses suggested by the defendant, including images of child pornography.

In a mortifying twist, Steibing began sending the nude photos of the girl to her family in an effort to get her to send him more child pornography. The girl stopped talking to “Cory” and sending him nude photos, federal authorities said. Shortly after, the girl began receiving messages from other AOL instant message contacts whose writing style resembled “Cory’s.” Prosecutors said Steibing was also behind those messages.
Federal authorities said Steibing stored the child porn he obtained on a laptop computer that he kept at his girlfriend’s Falls home. He later transported the laptop to his mother’s house in Ewing, New Jersey where, on May 1, 2012, police executed a search warrant and seized the laptop, along with an iPod Touch, which collectively contained hundreds of image files depicting the girl he tricked, according to a press release.

“During their searches, the police and FBI also discovered that the defendant had kept and distributed numerous images of child pornography in which the face of his own daughter, who was no older than 11 years old at the time, had been digitally ‘morphed’ onto the bodies of other minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct,” federal officials said.
In March 2012, Falls Detective Stephen Reeves received a disk containing child porn that allegedly belonged to Steibing.
Steibing’s girlfriend caught onto his habit for young girls when she suspected he was cheating on her and checked his laptop, according to court papers filed in Bucks County in 2013. The paperwork and criminal charges related to the possession of child porn was later withdrawn when federal authorities took over the case.
