Woman Stabs Boyfriend After He Asks Her To Leave, Cops Say

A Bristol Borough woman is accused of injuring her boyfriend Tuesday.

April Crump, 49, of Bristol Borough, slashed her boyfriend with a knife and struck him with a beer bottle Tuesday evening, police said.

Crump’s boyfriend told police she drank and smoked crack cocaine before the altercations inside a home in the 400 block of Jefferson Avenue, according to court papers.

The 49 year old began fighting her boyfriend after he told her she had to leave. At that time, she grabbed a knife and slashed him, police said.

When the boyfriend returned later to grab his belongings, Crump then struck him with a beer bottle, police said.

Sgt. Joe Moors told LevittownNow.com the boyfriend had to get stitches to his hand for the knife wound. In court papers, Officer Kevin DiFaolo wrote the boyfriend suffered cuts and abrasions to his neck and chest from being struck by the beer bottle.

Crump was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and harassment. He was arraigned before District Judge Daniel Baranoski and sent to county prison on 10 percent of $25,000 bail.

Crump is set to have her preliminary hearing before District Judge Frank W. Peranteau Sr. on April 15.
