The best way to help out the Earth is by cleaning it.
Silver Lake Nature Center in Bristol will be offiering a Earth Day Work Day on Saturday, April 18 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. (By the way, Earth Day falls on Wednesday, April 22.)

Volunteers will help clean up litter and debris that has collected in the area around Magnolia Lake, Silver Lake and the channel between.
Those who plan to help are encouraged to wear clothes that can get wet and muddy. Closed-toe shows are also needed.
Dow Chemical is sponsoring the event by providing water bottles and lunch.
