Bucks County Honor Flight Information Seminars Set For April

Information seminars for those who want to participate in the upcoming Bucks County Honor Flight will happen through the month of April.

Officials explained that Joe Szafran, the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds, along with state senators including Tommy Tomlinson (R-6), and Chuck McIlhenny (R-10) will hold information seminars for people wanting to get involved in the honor flight scheduled for Oct. 5 2015.

“The goal of the Bucks County Honor flight is to see that all county World War II and Korean War veterans have a chance to fly to Washington D.C., see the memorial, and come home, knowing they are not forgotten heroes, but loved and respected by their country,” according to a press release.

The information sessions will be held all over the county and require no prior registration. According to the released information, continental breakfast will be supplied at each session. The sessions will provide information to World War II veterans and Korean War veterans who wish to take park in the flight, as well as others who wish to volunteer for the flight.
