Annual Cross Procession Makes Its Way Through Langhorne

A few dozen faithful walked through April showers on Friday to remember the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

The walkers started at Middletown Friends Meeting on Maple Avenue and went to several churches in Langhorne Borough. The walk is a tradition in Langhorne that includes a rotating group of people carrying a wooden cross through the streets of the borough.

At the end of the walk, Langhorne Presbyterian Church on Bellevue Avenue hosted a Good Friday service.

Langhorne and Langhorne Manor police help direct traffic around the group.
