A Falls Township man accused of having a mobile methamphetamine lab in his vehicle waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Tuesday.
Michael Sember, 28, waived charges including drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and manufacturing, delivery of controlled substance and driving an an unregistered vehicle onto Doylestown for trial. Sember is currently free after posting bail.

Lower Makefield police pulled Sember over in 2014 for an expired registration. During the routine stop, the officer noticed drugs and paraphernalia on the floor of the car in plain view, according to information provided by the police department. Sember was taken into custody for the alleged possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Upon further investigation, an officer found items commonly used to make methamphetamine, police said.
The gas station where Sember was pulled over was evacuated and traffic was diverted, according to police. Specially trained officers from the the Philadelphia Police Department were called in order to help local officers properly dispose of the chemicals found in the trunk of the car.

According to police, Sember admitted to the arresting officer that he attempted to create methamphetamine in his car, effectively owning a “mobile meth lab.”
