With a winter storm now predicted to bring between 6 and 10 inches of snow to the region, local municipalities are declaring snow emergencies ahead of the first flakes.

Bristol Borough
No declaration has been made. Borough Manager James Dillion asks residents not to park their cars on Mill Street.
Bristol Township

Bristol Township has declared a snow emergency from 6 a.m. Thursday until 7 a.m. Friday. Click here to read more about Bristol Township’s snow removal policies.
Falls Township

Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito said a snow emergency would begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday and expire at 6 a.m. Friday. All residents are required to move vehicles, boats and trailers from the street and into driveways. Anyone with questions is asked to call 215-949-9000 ext. 201.
Langhorne Borough
Mayor Joe Taylor declared a snow emergency in the borough. Here’s what borough officials advise residents to do:
- Stay home if possible
- Avoid driving
- No parking of vehicles on streets to allow for clean-up
- Clear snow from sidewalks in a timely fashion
- Do not move snow into streets
- Expect power outages
- Check on elderly and disabled neighbors
