
Several LevittownNow.com readers have asked if Scappa Brick Oven Trattoria on New Falls Road in Falls Township’s Levittown section is closed for good.
On Sunday, that theory was confirmed through a post on the well-liked restaurant’s Facebook page.

“It is with our great regret that we did indeed have to shut down Scappa. We are sincerely sorry for any trouble or inconvenience this may have caused with its timing,” a post on the restaurant’s social media account stated. No reason for the closure was given.
The eatery, run by Chef Chris Stevens, was open for about two years and received many positive reviews on sites like Yelp and Facebook.
Customers began to suspect something was up when Scappa Brick Oven Trattoria was closed on Valentine’s Day evening.

LevittownNow.com recently called the business and found the phone number was disconnected.
On Facebook, the owners asked anyone with questions to contact them through there.
