A Bristol Borough man wanted for a home invasion-style robbery that happened in January was arraigned this week.
Tayron Devon Mercer, 24, was arraigned Monday before District Judge Frank Peranteau Sr. on charges of robbery, burglary, simple assault and related offenses. Police filed the warrant for his arrest last week, according to a docket sheet.

Mercer was sought by borough police after a nighttime home invasion-style robbery that happened around 9 p.m. on the 700 block of Pine Street.
Police told LevittownNow.com three suspects pushed into the house where four people were playing video games during a snow storm. The three suspects then began “brutally beating” the homeowner, an official said.
The three home invaders took video game systems, video games, condoms and food from the kitchen. Several drawers were tossed and the home was in disarray after the three suspects left, police said.

Several of the victims recognized the suspects and were able to identify the three, according to police.
Within an hour of the alleged crime, one of the juveniles was captured by officers. The other was captured later.

The case took a twist the next day when 20-year-old Donte Horton, the brother of one of the juvenile suspects, allegedly showed up at the victim’s home and threatened to kill him, Sgt. Joe Moors said last month.
Peranteau set Mercer’s bail at 10 percent of $50,000, which was later lowered to $50,000 unsecured after the bail was reviewed following a letter from veterans affairs, according to court paperwork.
