A vehicle fire sent smoke into the sky and delayed traffic on Route 1 in Falls Township and Morrisville Borough.
The fire was reported around 6:20 p.m. Monday in the area where Route 1 splits with Route 32, according to an emergency official. It was not immediately clear if the fire was connected to an accident or if any other vehicles were involved.
Traffic was slowed and detoured while local firefighters worked to put out the vehicle fire. As of 7:30 p.m., traffic was back to normal on the stretch of highway.
