The Jones New York facility in Bristol Township will remain open while the company’s 127 retail stores and wholesale business shut down.
The company, which is privately held and controlled by Sycamore Partners in New York City, announced the news late this week after it reviewed recent brand performance.

A company spokesperson would not disclose how many jobs are at the 180 Rittenhouse Circle office complex but said there are no plans to shutter the facility.
Sycamore Partners is pursuing “strategic alternatives” to continue the brand, a spokesperson said.
“Following a thorough strategic review of Jones New York’s recent performance and outlook, we have decided to discontinue the Jones New York wholesale business and close all 127 Jones New York outlet stores,” Andrew Hede, interim chief executive officer of Jones New York, said in a statement. “We recognize that the Jones New York brand is important to many loyal customers, and we are pursuing strategic alternatives for the brand.

While an exact date was not announced, the brand is expected to close all locations by the end of 2015.
The company said in a statement that they appreciated their employees and customers.
