Police say Frazier crashed a stolen 1995 Oldsmobile into a tree off Route 1 in Falls Township late Saturday morning. Witnesses stopped to check for injuries and reported Frazier ran across two lanes of the highway and into a wooded area, court papers note.

After being pushed back by thick brush and a fence, Frazier tried to get into a man’s Ford Focus, police said. They added the owner of the car yelled at the 49 year old and told him not to get in.

Frazier then asked a man for a ride and stated someone was chasing him, police said. Before getting a ride, Frazier allergy ran off toward Woolston Drive.

Falls Officer George Thomas and Lower Makefield Cpl. Tom Augustin followed Frazier’s footprints and tracked him to a property in the 100 block of Woolston Drive, court papers say.

Middletown police investigating a retail theft at the Sears store at the Oxford Valley Road responded to the scene and witnesses identified Frazier as the suspect, court papers say. The stolen goods were returned to the store.

Frazier was transported to Aria Health’s Falls township campus following his arrest. Authorities said he suffered head and neck injuries in the initial car crash.
