David Wisnia is an original resident of Levittown. More notably, he is also a survivor of Auschwitz concentration camp.
The 88-year-old recalled his experiences recently to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Wisnia told reporter Edward Colimore of the three years he spent inside the infamous camp where large amounts of prisoners and Jewish people were killed by the Nazis.

In 2013, Wisnia also spoke with Levittown Comfort about his experiences in Levittown and during World War II in a documentary film that was posted on YouTube.
