The authentic and antique-era Coca-Cola sign, which was painted on the side of a building at the corner of Market and Radcliffe streets in Bristol Borough, is getting an overhaul.
The sign, according to Chairman of the Historic Bristol Borough Economic Development Committee Bill Pezza, was in serious disrepair. The sign, which could not be replaced without being painted over, was removed from the side of 127 Radcliffe Street several months ago as the building underwent renovation.

Pezza told LevittownNow.com that the sign was a part of Bristol Borough that everyone loved.

“It was actually painted right on the brick background and could not be repaired without first redoing the paint on the bricks,” he said. “That has now been done, beautifully I might add.”
According to Pezza, the building’s owner, which has been committed to replacing the sign since the beginning, is in correspondence with Coca Cola to replace it.

“We all look forward to it’s completion,” he said.
