Imagine driving down the Pennsylvania Turnpike and have your vehicle struck by a rock. That’s apparently happening in Bristol Township.
Township police are stepping up patrols after the rock throwing incidents, according to Acting Chief Sgt. Ralph Johnson.

The first incident happened on January 6 and the second on Sunday in the area of the turnpike ramps at Route 13, Johnson said.
While police coverage of the ramp is normally handled by the Pennsylvania State Police, Bristol Township authorities think the rocks are being thrown from the rear of the Green Lane Apartments or from dead end of Beaver Dam Road, Johnson said.
“I have units assigned to the area to catch them in the act,” Johnson.
