Middletown Township Police are reminding all township residents to remove their vehicles from township streets and roads during snowstorms.

Township ordinance 470-501 “Parking Prohibited During Snowstorms” states:
“No person shall park, store or stand any motor vehicle on any street within the Township during the period of time commencing one hour after snow begins to fall within the Township and ending 12 hours after snow ceases to fall within the Township.”
This is to allow township plow trucks full access to roadways to adequately clear them of snow. MTPD thanks you for your compliance.

Also, MTPD reminds residents to check on elderly relatives and neighbors during the upcoming bitterly cold weather, to ensure their well being and that they have proper heat available to them and that it is working and turned on. Please call the MTPD at 215-949-1000 or 911 if you suspect an elderly person may be suffering in a home without heat during this bitterly cold period.
