A forecast on PhillyWx.com’s Facebook page calls for the clipper storm to bring snow to the area starting between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. The weather page calls for the snow to end between noon and 3 p.m.

“While not a high impact storm in terms of snow amounts, its expected arrival during the morning rush hour will make for a fun latter half of the morning commute for the western suburbs,” the weather page said.

Here’s the forecast from the National Weather Service:

  • Monday night: A slight chance of snow after 4am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 19. West wind 12 to 17 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
