It’s the end of the line for the Bottom Dollar Food stores in Bristol Township and Penndel.
The company confirmed late last week that all 66 of its locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Ohio would be shuttered by January 15. The news came after an announcement last year that Delhaize Group in Belgium signed an agreement to sell the chain to Aldi.

Last month, U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) sent a letter to Aldi President Jason Hart. The letter asks Hart to protect the 1,600 jobs that would be lost when the stores close.
