Three individuals were arrested this weekend after allegedly shooting multiple people from a car with a paintball gun.
The defendants – Kevin Micciulla, 18, Patrick Brophy Jr., 20, both of Levittown, and Robert Paul, 21, who has no fixed address – are accused of using a paintball gun with blue ammunition to shoot multiple people in recent days, court documents say.

Once incident in Morrisville involved the victim shot in the wrist while sitting by a campfire. According to the probable cause affidavit, there was evidence of blue paintball ammunition. The assailants continued to shoot while they moved down the street, police said.
Later on, calls were received from victims in the Elderberry section of Falls Township’s Levittown neighborhood. One victim was shot in the eye and another resident of the same section was shot in the back while riding his bike. Other victims from the section reported being shot in the buttocks and lower leg areas, according to the official court documents. Police said other witnesses reported seeing multiple cars that appeared to be riddled with blue paint.
Brophy was observed by Falls Township police in his Mitsubishi Eclipse sitting in the parking lot at 475 South Oxford Valley Road Friday night, said the probable cause affidavit. Brophy gave consent to a search of the car. Inside, the officer found the paintball gun, a carbon monoxide canister, and blue paintball gun ammunition, court papers say.

A small amount of marijuana was discovered in the passenger side door in a sandwich bag. According to official documents, Paul admitted to owning the small amount of marijuana and shooting the paintball gun.
Brophy admitted to smoking marijuana before driving around and driving the vehicle, court papers say.

In recent weeks, there have been reports of paintball assaults in Bristol Township and Falls. Court papers do not state if the men arrested Friday were connected to the Bristol Township incidents.
Brophy is being charged with a felony of conspiracy and aggravated assault, two conspiracy misdemeanors – one of simple assault and one of recklessly endangering another person – along with two summary charges of disorderly conduct and allowing the paintball gun to be accessible while driving.

Paul and Brophy’s bail was set at 10 percent of $25,000, and Micciulla’s bail was set at 10 percent of $10,000. The three are being held in the county jail after being unable to post bail. Their preliminary hearings are set for Jan. 13 at 1:30 p.m. at Judge Jan Vislosky’s court.
