A gas leak was reported on Cabot Boulevard in Falls Township early Friday afternoon.
Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito said the gas leak happened underground outside a business that was undergoing work. He said contractors were to blame for hitting the gas line.

Fire crews stood by while PECO crews worked to assess and fix the damage, the fire marshal said.
No businesses on Cabot Boulevard were evacuated but several were disrupted by the leak.
Aside from Cabot Boulevard, no other roads were closed by the leak.
